Hotel Bellerive - Lausanne

The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

My experience was marred by several issues. First, my room's view was blocked by a nearby building, disappointing considering I chose this hotel for the promised lake view. I expected more for the price I paid, especially with the rather uninspiring decor and atmosphere.

The hotel was in a stunning location a short walk to a lake and a harbour. Plus it was 5 mins drive from Lake Geneva. I ate at a pleasant restaurant for chinese food. It met the needs.

No complaints!

The services were excellent! Spotless and updated room on top floors, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfast available was good with nuts and fresh croissants, as for instance. Location: the hotel was not far from the lake shore, the town centre and the train station, and train station.

Make sure to ask about the free public transport tickets upon check-in to enhance your local travel experience.

Helpful reception staff, great value for switzerland

I expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles, but instead, I got nothing. It's a shame, really. I was ready to leave a glowing review but just couldn't.

Very kind, helpful staff. The breakfast room was quaint and it was sufficient for our needs. The lobby was a bit outdated as was the rest of the hotel but it was clean.

The outside was not very inviting and didn't catch our eye as "someplace we would have chosen to stay".

Excellent location; close to lake and good access to mass transit. Continental breakfast had good selections and breakfast room is pleasant. Efficient staff. Free wi-fi & local calling. Very quiet with windows closed. Bathroom is huge! Spa in hotel (didn't use). Having a balcony is nice; rooms facing lake should have nice view. For an older hotel, nicely updated. Small hotel (7 rooms per floor, 5 floors) so has relaxed feeling.

Rooms facing street are noisy with windows open, which was necessity -- no ventilation and room was always warm (stay was in early July). Had to leave windows open to sleep; no screen so bugs did come in. Either a fan or room A/C would have been nice. Room is small, just barely enough room to get around foot of bed -- should have made bathroom smaller to give more room to bedroom. Hard to find outlet to plug in computer. Must manually lock door with key. Expensive for what you get, but that is just Switzerland.

The staff were helpful. The hotel's location made it easy to explore nearby parks and restaurants.

Nice small hotel. My room had a lolvely view of the lake. Located somewhere in between the city centre and the lake.

Everything in Swisserland is very expensive. This hotel is no exception, the cost was high but maybe that is a problem with Swisserland more than with this hotel.

The family room we had was spacious and included a sweet lake view. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially when we arrived with our pet. The hotel was conveniently located.

My kids wished there were more activities available for them.

Our room was very nice. Besides the bed and a desk, it had a small sofa. The bathroom was fine, the people were friendly and breakfast was very good.

The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the staff ignored our "Do Not Disturb" sign. Being eco-minded, we don't really need our sheets and towels changed every day.

really enjoyed our stay, we were only there for one night, but everything was really good, the staff were excellent- and answered any queries we had and were very helpfull. the room was comfortable, although maybe installing aircon maybe something worth thinking about in the future, as the room was very hot and as the road below is very busy and noisy, we were unable to leave the window open. the only other thing which we missed in our room were tea and coffee making facilities, which is always good. overall though the Hotel and staff were very good
